The Wave (2007) - Luxembourg
"The Wave", a work situated at the historical ground level of Fort Lambert, echoes the work at Parc Pescatore. The installations resonate with one another magnetically, like positive and negative elements. The work at Parc Pescatore recreates our virtual appropriation of the historical shelter as a place of transformation. "The Wave" enlarges and transforms our vision of the historical fortress, situated below the current ground level. It creates a wholly new perspective on the fortress, an alternative vantage point between the visible and the invisible, yesterday and today.
